KISHIGO CREATIVE:SCREENING SPECIFICATIONS

For vests that use Reflective Prismatic Vinyl Tape on 100% polyester

• Examples: 1197, 1076, 1208
• Does NOT apply to: T59/T93 (Thermal heat apply ONLY)
• Use Rutland plastisol inks – 6 colors max
• Need to fold in order to keep direct heat away from tape.
• Run thru heater between 680 – 695 degrees for approx. 30 sec depending on heater settings and outside temperature

Steps to fold:

For vests that use Glass Bead tape

• Examples: 1191, 1089, 1163
• Does NOT apply to: 1166BA/1167BA*
• Use Rutland plastisol inks – 6 color max
• No need to fold to protect tape
• Dry between 680 – 695 deg depending on outside temperature.
• Run thru heater between 680 – 695 degrees for approx. 30 sec depending on heater settings and outside temperature.

For vests that use our FR Modacrylic Solid material:

• Examples: F300, F310, F323
• Use Rutland plastisol inks – 1 color only
• Material will shrink if heat is too high or for too long.
• Run through heater at 600 deg twice for approx. 30 sec.

For our Rainwear and Jackets:

• Examples: RWJ100, 9662
• Does NOT apply to: JS110/11, JS115/16 (Prismatic tape)*
• Use International Coatings 900 series nylon inks W 1 color only (Garments have cushioned thermal insulation that will shift during screening causing logos to be skewed)
• Flash for 15W18 sec (use temperature tab to ensure proper curing time).
• Run through heater at 680 deg for approx. 30 sec.
• Use same previous precautions if working with Prismatic or Glass Bead tape. *Do not run through heater – tape will burn,Flash for 20 sec to cure

For our Sweatshirts:

• JS100/JS101, JS102/JS103
• Use Rutland plastisol inks – 3 color max (no touching colors)
• No need to fold to protect tape
• Dry between 680 – 695 deg depending on outside temperature.
• Run thru heater between 680 – 695 degrees for approx. 30 sec depending on heater settings and outside temperature.

For our Windbreakers:

• WB100/WB101
• Use Rutland plastisol inks – 1 color only
• No need to fold to protect tape
• Run through heater at 665 deg MAX for approx. 30 sec.
